Tiffany Colter is a freelance writer and writing career coach just outside of Toledo, OH. She won the 2007 Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense in the unpublished Inspirational Category for her manuscript A Face in the Shadow. In 2004, her manuscript Fractured was a semi-finalist in Christian Writer's Guild's Operation First Novel.

She has written for Today's Christian and Charisma Magazine. She is currently a regular writer for the Toledo Business Journal and Afictionado [ACFW’s monthly E-zine]. She received her BA from the University of Toledo in 1998 with a Summa cum Laude distinction. She is fluent in French and American Sign Language and works with the deaf ministry at her church. Her Writing Career Coach Course includes students from the US, Canada, and Australia. She is passionate about not only creating a great story but helping other writers learn how to build a strong writing business. She leads by example and continually seeks to improve upon the previous success.

Tiffany is available to speak at your writing group, homeschool group, conference or other event. I also offer Writing Retreats that include in depth business planning and pampering with a group of no more than six people.

Writing Retreat Weekends

These weekends are held a few times a year just outside of Toledo, Ohio. They include a weekend of pampering, relaxation, and customized business planning. [Yes, these things can go together]

While we work together with a maximum of six students, Tiffany will help each person create a customized business plan, with benchmarks, based on their own goals. These weekends cost between $225-$275 and all lodging, meals, and lessons are included in that price.
